The AFC will take on the NFC in today’s annual Pro Bowl in Orlando, Florida.
Two stud filled lineups will go at today as the NFL’s best go at it in a friendly competition. I use friendly, but believe me, both sides want to win.
The NFC will be coached by Jason Garrett and the Dallas Cowboys’ coaching staff. This could prove to be a slight advantage since Dak Prescott, Amari Cooper, and Ezekiel Elliott are all on offense. Along with them, there’s Seahawks’ Russell Wilson, Bears’ Mitch Trubisky and Eddie Jackson, Giants’ Saquon Barkley, Vikings’ Adam Thielen, and many more. This offense could really put up some points today.
Meanwhile for the AFC will be coached by Anthony Lynn and the Chargers’ coaching staff. While Lynn doesn’t have his players the way Jason Garrett has, he will still have wide receiver Keenan Allen. However, he’ll also have Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill, a dynamic duo he’s all too familiar with having played them twice this year. Steelers’ James Connor will also make his Pro Bowl debut.
The Pro Bowl is usually a high scoring, but has gotten more competitive over the last few years with lower scoring games. Will today be more of the same? Or will we see these two squads running up and down the field?
The fun in the sun gets started at 3pm ET on ESPN.
