Carolina Panthers’ quarterback, Cam Newton, underwent shoulder surgery today.
The quarterback underwent an arthroscopic procedure on his throwing shoulder. The surgery was successful according to owner, David Tepper.
Newton’s throwing shoulder didn’t look the same in the second half of the season. As a result, the Panthers collapsed down the back half of their season.
We’ll have to see how the Panthers play his recovery, but this would appear to be the right call by the organization.
