The Dallas Cowboys have parted ways with offensive coordinator, Scott Linehan. Linehan served the last 5 season with the Cowboys. The two have parted on a mutual agreement.
This was apparently a very tough decision for the Cowboys to make and head coach, Jason Garrett, said, “this was not an easy decision because of how much we regard Scott Linehan as a football coach and person,” he followed that up with “this was very much a mutual decision, and there was a great deal of common ground and shared understanding between both of us during our meetings.”
The Cowboys will now search elsewhere to find a new offensive coordinator. Following an impressive season with a playoff win, the Cowboys vacancy should bring a lot of interest to offensive minds.
