The L.A. Charges aren’t letting quarterback, Philip Rivers, go anywhere.
General manager, Tom Telesco, told the media that “I can tell you that he’s not going anywhere,” which was reported on the Chargers official website.
This season , Philip Rivers led the Chargers to an impressive 12-4 mark, earning them a playoff spot. A loss to the Patriots in the Divisional round of the playoffs will only motivate their competitive leader.
Rivers finished the season with 4,308 passing yards, 32 passing touchdowns, and only 12 interceptions. The Chargers are certainly a force in the AFC heading into next season.
The Chargers’ signal caller is set to enter the final year of his contract, but it’s clear that the whole organization wants to see him playing in a Chargers’ jersey for years to come.
