The Magic of Eagles’ quarterback, Nick Foles, is over. The Eagles fell short in New Orleans on Sunday with a 20-14 loss in the Divisional round of the Playoffs.
However, despite all the drama around Nick Foles and his future, the quarterback says he isn’t going to focus on his future right now.
“I’m not going to worry about it right now,” Foles told the media after the playoff loss yesterday.
Over the offseason, Foles signed a new deal after the Super Bowl win that happened to have a $20 million option going into the 2019 season. However, Foles could also buy out the contract for $2 million and test the free agency market.
Nick Foles would be the big name this offseason and could cash in with a quarterback needy team for a big payday. Foles has served as a clutch backup for Carson Wentz, but it might be time for the soon to be 30-year to step back into a full-time starting role.
Whether or not Foles stays in Philadelphia is up in the air, the fans love him and Foles loves the people saying, “I’ve enjoyed every single moment and it’ll always have a special place in my heart.”
The former Super Bowl MVP’s future is anything but certain, but the legend continues.
